Good even before aging

While I bought it to mature in my home wooden keg, it was surprisingly good even before I started to age it. If it is good before aging that must be a good sign that it’ll be even better later on.

Receive my 5l barrel within a few days of ordering. Soaked for 2 days no leaks. Filled with cask tawny and cheap brandy, had a taste for reference and was a bit rough. Had a taste on weekend after 4 weeks and couldnt believe the difference, it had smoothed out a lot and was quite drinkable. Looking forward to see how it ages over the next few months.
