Adelaide Wine Barrels

Excellent product. Will prolong the life of our barrel by years. The material is heavy duty and will last. Great for the price.

I have always wanted one of these barrels and as I am now home distilling it was a good time to try to produce my own whiskey from one. The order was delivered promptly by Adelaide barrels in time for Christmas. The stand was poorly cut and couldn't be assembled properly, but upon contacting the company it was quickly replaced with another. The barrel is great and instructions clear. I have now filled it and just need to be patient for the ageing process and an end result which will hopefully be delicious.

I received the engraved barrel quicker than I expected. It came with clear instructions and tips and I couldn't have asked for me.

They did a great job with the engravement. And the barrel itself looks great. You can tell that it is of high quality.
My dad loves it.
Barrel dose not leak and is currently filled with port and aging.
The port they sell is very nice as well.

I purchased new make whisky to barrel age at home. Too early to say how it will end up and I'm not using a barrel from AWB as I already had one but the new make smells amazing for unaged whisky. Nice notes and doesn't have that pure alcohol harshness that many raw spirits have. Also great having the bulk 2l containers and at a good price. I would be happy to see the range expand to include more varieties of new make.

Only hiccup I had was an item missing from my order but that was sorted and on it's way within a couple of hours of emailing.

Was impressed with speed of ordering process and delivery, the barrel looks great and exactly as the pics showed. Too early to see how well it works but if it is as good as other reviews then I will be very happy.

Well, as my port barrel contents were starting to resemble a molasses experiment, it was time to refresh with some quality tawny. I'm a creature of habit and was preparing to order a flagon of Seppelts or Rutherglen tawny when I got a recommendation from a friend of mine to try Underground. Pretty good drop tbf. Arrived promptly even given the Christmas/new year holiday delays. Recommended+++
