Very happy with this product, currently aging in my 10l Barrel, looking forward to adding my favourite spirit to soak up all the flavours.
Got this for my American Oak cask. The end of the thread wasn't perfect adn so I had to do a little filing to get it to fit the barrel, but once done the seal was perfect. And while rinsing out the barrel with hot water (after the initial soak), I could hear the air puffing out of the valve. Just the thing to stop the liquid being forced out between the staves if the barrel gets a bit hot!

This is the first barrel I've ever got that had absolutely no issues. Perfectly sealed, beautiful looking and it's currently being seasoned with red wine/port before getting a dose of rum. It will take a while longer for me to be able to review the flavour imparted, but if it's anything like the condiion it promises to be a cracker!!!
